Large Group - Spring 2017

Everybody loves a good story, right?  There is just something about a good story that draws us in and captures our imaginations.  This semester at RUF we are studying through the book of Exodus, which is the story of an amazing rescue - of God saving His people Israel from Egypt.  And more than being just a great story, we could say that Exodus sets the pattern of how God saves His people that gets repeated throughout history.  In other words, as we look at the story of Exodus, and see how God’s salvation plays out, we can see what it means and what it looks like to be saved by God.  We’re invited into the story, in a sense.  Even though the characters  and setting have changed, the substance of the story is still being played out and God offers us to be a part of the story of salvation!  So each week, we’ll take a look and see what Exodus shows us about the pattern of salvation.  Please come join us as we take this journey through Exodus!

We meet every Wednesday night at 8pm in Elliston Chapel (in East Village), starting January 11th.

Students: Stay in the Loop

We Need Your Support

We know that there are many great ministries and that there is likely a lot going on in your life financially, but we are in need of support team members. We ask you to consider giving a yearend gift as well as becoming a regular financial partner. Your support serves the students here at Baylor in very significant and meaningful ways.

Join the BaylorRuf Team

We cannot minister and serve at Baylor apart from the financial support of churches and individuals. We'd love for you to join our support team by giving to and praying for us.

No support is insignificant!

Getting Right or Made Right?

We like to say that we're a place where the emphasis is not on "getting right with God but that there is one who has already made you right with God."

We are a Christian campus ministry providing opportunities to learn what the Bible teaches and to live accordingly as students. In RUF, we believe the gospel reconciles the often divorced concepts of doctrine and life, faith and reason, and knowledge and experience. This means we believe the gospel must be understood if it's to be lived and lived to be truly understood. It also means that we are here to serve the Church and the University not to compete against the one for the sake of the other.

We want RUF to be a place where you can come with your questions and doubts, find fellowship with others, and grow in your knowledge of God's work in Christ and what it looks like to serve him. Regardless of your spiritual condition or your understanding of God and Christianity, RUF is a place where it's truly okay to be 'in process'.
